Gift Ideas For a Vegan (15 Cruelty-Free Goodies For Any Occasion)

For a lot of people, they think veganism is just a diet, but veganism is more than that, it is all about reducing the suffering of animals.

A real vegan not only doesn’t eat animal products, they also don’t use products that were made with animal ingredients. So obviously no real fur and leather, but there are some subtle ingredients that you may not even realize are non-vegan.

For example, some hair gels use gelatin which is made from the boiling of animal bones, skin, and other parts. Non-vegans aren’t aware, but most vegans would be. If your gift contained gelatin, some vegans might bring it up to you, but some might feel uncomfortable receiving this gift and they might just give it away later on.

To avoid either of these situations, here I’ll suggest to you 15 cool gift ideas for a vegan, they’re good for all kinds of occasions.

1. Shampoo/Conditioner

This is the classic gift that fits anyone who has hair. Unfortunately a lot of shampoos and conditions have non-vegan ingredients such as milk-derived biotin, and the average person probably wouldn’t be able to tell whether that’s vegan or not just by reading the label. This why I love the Dessert Essence shampoo and conditioner, they are 100% vegan. They use ingredients like shea butter and organic coconut oil, they are also soy, wheat, and gluten free.
